Caught with this virus of my mind Matt Watering

So.... I've not been around much lately, but as you can see, we've moved site and working on new things.

I still have to do a Day In The Life of what happened on the zombie shoot. The memories are distant. It was a mad day, so much focus that I didn't get to take it all in. When the flashbacks have finished I'll have a complete story Smile

Why the move to a new site? Well, the BAZ project didn't get as much attention and sign-ups are we'd planned. In fact, with the exception of Admars, all money raised was through people I knew and who'd have helped out anyway. With that in mind, we're regrouping and reappraising our approach. It's difficult to know exactly what the future holds right now. We're definitely going to have a screening early next year of the short for charity, and we will be actively looking to take the charity movie route going forward. The model needs to change however. It was an interesting experiment, but I feel we need to get commercial sponsorship rather than the odd £10 here and there. Watch this space Smile ZOMBIEZ is still very much in my mind, please do not think it's been forgotten.

I say that, because I'm making another short film this week! This one started out as a project for the latest Brighton Film Coalition Challenge. However, it's morphed, over the last week the story has found it's legs and the characters have evolved. It's been a great creative time.

What we have now is a film completely different to my usual stuff. This one, shock horror, has a bit of depth.

And guess what? We're shooting this Wednesday for a screening in Brighton on Friday night! So no rush!!

I'll go into more details later, but I'm very excited about it. It's a nice little side project away from ZOMBIEZ for a few weeks, with the deadline ensuring it doesn't eat up too many months of my life.
