A little bit of progress?

So I'm laying in bed contemplating the last few days.

Events kicked of quietly, a quick email to a few regular crew members asking their permission to include a bio on the Crew page - they would be involved in Genesis after all. Quickly found myself on Facebook having a chat with Piotr, my regular sound engineer.

I've not spoken to Piotr much this last year. He's incredibly busy on the Latest TV webshow, while I've been dragging my heels trying to nail down Genesis. So we got chatting, and I happened to mention I'd been kicking around the idea of shooting the film on a Canon 5D. Little did I know Piotr has a 7D. And a Sony EX3.

Piotr's branched out this last year, and now films, lights and edits, as well as doing sound. He's always had an obscene amount of gear, and now he's added to it with some very nice prosumer camcording equipment.

And he's very interested in shooting Genesis....

So we met today and went through a few things. Due to his time constraints, and my difficulties in writing the script, it all seems a bit unrealistic right now, but the idea has been planted that we could shoot in Jan/Feb of next year. It's just an idea.

Let us see what this week brings. Let us see if I can at least nail down the sequence of events in Genesis.
